"I told our guys that it's like you're down to the last hole of a championship golf match. You have to finish that hole," he said. "You get all tight and tense and you start analyzing everything. We went down there and they whipped our tails. That's what happened. Put it behind you, move forward and let's get better."

SCOUTING THE DEFENSE: Only Nevada (318.1) surrenders more passing yards per game than Tulsa Football (289.2). They still lead C-USA and rank fourth nationally with 3.1 sacks per game, despite coming up empty in last week's loss to the Cougars.
